# Stealth Launch

Where did we come from?

Snowy Owl Finance stealth launched on 2/19/2022.

It was decided not to implement a genesis pool for the following reasons

* Potential for extremely centralized supply, whales can game genesis pools.
* Starts too close to peg and is not optimal for boardroom printing.
* Decreases seigniorage share token utility.
